Lorenzo Bernasconi is Board Chair of Emergent Forest Finance Accelerator, an intermediary focused on mobilizing large-scale private capital for the preservation of the world’s rainforests.

Previously, he was Managing Director at The Rockefeller Foundation where he led the foundation’s innovative finance and impact investing activities. Prior to Rockefeller, Lorenzo worked in strategy consulting and investment banking, and spent several years in academia.

Lorenzo holds a PhD in philosophy from Cambridge University and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Columbia University’s Earth Institute.
