John Latsis’ research interests are in social theory and economic philosophy and cover questions about the nature of conventional behaviour and rule-following in social life, the influence of theory on economic action, and the socio-economic dimensions of human need. He held academic positions at the Universities of Reading, Oxford and Harvard during a thirteen-year academic career before moving into the private sector where he holds a number of board positions in listed and private companies. He has a BA from the University of Oxford, an MSc from the London School of Economics, a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and is a member of the Higher Education Academy of the United Kingdom. John remains an active research scholar.
