Baindu Kallon joined the ISRF in December 2024 as Academic Events & Fellowship Coordinator. She is responsible for the coordination of the ISRF events programme, including congresses, conferences, lectures and seminars, as well as for the ongoing management of alumni relations and outreach initiatives. She also leads on the External Assessment process of competition processing, in liaison with academic colleagues.
Baindu previously spent over three years as Research Engagement and Impact Officer based at Coventry University, working with the UKRI-funded MIDEQ Hub to identify and enhance impact arising from their research as well as deepening engagement and dissemination of MIDEQ's work.
Baindu has a wealth of experiences working in research, communications and business development within international development, specifically focused on Sub-Saharan Africa. She holds a BSc from Northwestern University and a Masters’ degree from SOAS, University of London where she studied the political economy of regional integration and migration policies in West Africa.
